As the Program Manager, AndersonPenna is responsible for oversight of the planning, design, environmental, and construction management of a $68.8 million 62-mile linear project that includes track, a bridge repair, and traffic and railroad signals. Specifically responsible for managing more than 15 design, environmental, construction management, and construction contracts during the construction phase of this project, and the overall budget, schedule, and quality oversight.

The project requires substantial coordination with cities, counties, resource agencies, CPUC, FRA, and both the freight and commuter train operators. The majority of project funding came from Transportation Congestion Relief Program grant funds approved and allocated by the CTC. AndersonPenna is responsible for the review and approval of all contractor change orders and invoices. Extensive coordination was required with Caltrans since they manage the review and approval imperative to complete the work within budget. While the rehabilitation project was completed in January 2011, AndersonPenna continues to be the agency's project manager for day-to-day activities.
